MOHFW population projections at state level, based on the 2011 Census. Covers 38 entries (36 states/UTs, India total, and Ladakh) with annual projections from 2011 to 2036. Values are absolute numbers (the source rounds in thousands independently, so population may differ from males + females by up to 1000).
